@Rob1969in Could be worth checking to see that you have the top pin adjusted so that it's making good contact with your atty. Also, have you tried your mod in reverse mode (fire button at the bottom) to see if it is any better?

That's the way I have it set at the moment I couldn't get it to fire at all with the button at the top

a coolfire 2 is a really good, yet different mod ...works brilliantly

as for 69 it sounds like there is a contact/adjustment problem....bit difficult with the 69 as more parts to get right,....thing i cocked up on was the uper atty connection not realising it was a screw within a screw sort of set up

Thanks Jester I will have a look for a Cool fire, I have a good contact in China , I only paid about 15 quid for the 69, so not to bothered that its not quite right, but will keep fiddling about with it

Ah the coolfire is an 18350 battery size, I would prefer the longer lasting 18650..

She is now firing nice and powerful ,after giving the contacts a light buff with fine emery cloth, thank's to Billybob for that tip.Ninja I will give you a shout when I decide to get rid, I am thinking about a vamo or a Tesla

I tried some 1 ohm wire and I get a burnt taste is that normal? with 1.5 ohm the ody is fine and vapes lovely, anyone know the best place to buy ready made res/non res wire in 1.5 ohm? I take it the 1 ohm is too low now I have the 69 mod firing perfectly? or could it be something I am doing or the ready made wires faulty? still a bit of a novice with rebuildables!
