As the title says I want to thank @Vapaneezer Scrooge sooooo much, he looked at my broken BB I dropped in the washing up water (yes I know!) and said it was beyond repair not surprisingly. He then ordered and paid for a new BB so he could seal it for me and also I sent him my other one which he sealed as well. I got my new one today and he even sent me a new set of doors to match the BB, what a star this gent is, he didn't want payment until I received it which is now sorted, I don't know of another community that would do this for one another and I just wanted to say 'Thank You' !!!!!

Blushing but just happy to help :)

Shame your old BB couldn't be rescued but it's getting great use as a panel magnet jig :)

Top work Mr scrooge and fear not quince. I dropped a pico squeeze out of my shirt pocket into the bath once. It happens. The trick is the speed of the retrieval.

Very generous of him.

Out of curiosity, what makes a billet box beyond repair? Reason I ask is part of the reason I bought mine, was that as I understood it, everything that can go wrong, can be replaced. Are there certain wires that cannot be accessed to be replaced?

Depends on the damage done. Immersed in water would likely mean new board, screen, fire switch, USB port plus bodywork damage. Weighed against the price of a replacement BB, probably the cheaper option.

Cheers, makes sense.
