A quick update on some new flavours I got.
Oakwood - Excellent. Mild, fresh wood taste. It kind of tastes how freshly cut wood smells I guess. You'd be surprised at how pleasant it is to vape this pure wood flavour. I can imagine it could get a bit boring though, as it is mild and not punchy at all. Would probably make an excellent mixer, to add a subtle background depth and authentic base to other flavours.
Just tried it mixed with hazelnut, and damn, this is excellent. Way nicer than I expected. Hard to describe why it's so nice, but it is. Just adds an extra bit of depth and authenticity to the hazelnut, to bring out the flavour more. The wood almost serves the purpose of cocoa, a deep but not overpowering flavour to complement the hazelnut - makes it nutella esque but less sweet
Black Tea - Initially disappointing, not one of FA's more authentic flavours that's for sure. Doesn't taste of black tea. What tastes it like to me, is actually Peach Lipton Ice
Once I accepted it didn't taste like pure, strong black tea and is nowhere near as authentic as their coffee - I started to like it. Light and pleasant.
I tried mixing it with cream, and sure enough it tastes a bit nicer. Just a bit fuller and more satisfying I guess. Then I tried mixing it with cardamom, and damn, this is excellent too. A basic chai style mix I guess - tea, cream and cardamom. Really nice, much better than I expected. It's still light, but complex enough to make you want to chainvape it relentlessly
Cardamom - Only tried it in the above mix, but in there it's truly excellent and very authentic. Tastes just like cardamom, and sniffing the bottle smells exactly like cardamom pods.
I still have Zen Garden and Tiramisu to try from this order, but I'm really impressd with the above 3 flavours.
For people like me who mainly vape tobacco and coffee, I think the oakwood and tea are a great alternative if you feel like a lighter flavour as a change, or break from strong, heavy flavours. I find them much nicer than fruit flavours actually, more interesting and satisfying. I'd also say Oakwood is way better than Black Fire, less overpowering and just a much more pleasant flavour.
