Another fantastic mod mate.

For anyone lucky enough to get hold of one of these and is keeping with the aluminium finish I would advise to wrap it with some heli tape.

I polished mine up nicely and then wrapped it with this stuff and now I don't have to worry about any marks or scratches on my perfect little mod

I honestly think this is the tidiest SX350 Mod I've seen.
I know it took an age to build and you don't want to go commercial @BaDaBooM but surely you could sell your design or better still license it to a manufacturer.

Anyway, props to you for a great looking Mod.

I just like making mods for others I don't make any money on them, all the money goes towards tooling to make better mods. I try my best to keep the design really simple but still add the features we vapers like and need.
Simple design you would think it would be simple to make, isn't always like that. I spend countless hours designing them on a computer and even more hours tweaking the design on the mill. My mill is small and I try to do big things on it hehehe. Just to recessed the 510 takes about 2 hours to do, you would think its just to slap it on the mill and machine it, I have to first zero the rotary table to the, on a good day it takes 5min on a bad day it takes 30mins, then I have to center the mod body on the mill, again 5-30mins. Once Ive done that I do a test run and scribe the recess to make sure its right. After all that I can machine it.

Id go commercial but I don't know how and I don't have the money to do it.

Hey Badaboom, Just as a matter of interest a couple of us were discussing your work at Vapefest, Do you think it would be technically possible to do either a 26650 0r 18650 with either a DNA or SX chip in the PC Case modders style with the clear perspex sides and fancied up wiring...

Plexiglass is not a problem more than it would a fingerprint nightmare

If I could find braided wires like this http://i.imgur.com/fCuJS.jpg small enough then yes and I could add a colored LED too.

Instead of the hole sidedoor being made out of plexiglass I would do it like this http://hacknmod.com/wp-content/old/pics/2254-1.jpg an frame around the plexi to give it a cleaner look.

Its easy to find but the small dia is harder to find braided cable sleeving 3/4/6/8/10/15/20mm harness sheathing flexible expandable | eBay

Aye, that place I linked had fairly small stuff, 2 cores twisted together in pure white, which could be seperated into single strands and dyed whatever colour I reckon. Could work.

You are crazy, its a compliment.

I would go all out and put a UV led in it and have UV sensitive braided sleeves and do a color theme like black/white, green/black or black/blue. Wrap the battery in uv sensitive hest shrink tubing.
