hi everyone my names scott ive been vaping for months now but ive not smoked for a few years ... just like the flavours i dont hit the nicotine .... im looking to invest in a nice kit but not too exspensive. i want a top (atomiser) which will give me very good flavor from the juices... and a VV/VW body mod ... what do you people recomend

Vamo and Evod.

But some actual experts will probably be along in a minute :D

My Sigeili z max is vv/vw and with a viva nova on top is fantastic,ce's good but find the protank to airy(gona try to mod that) also have an itaste mvp which is vv only but easy to play with great with the same but you have to adjust more to hit the spot whereas the z max set on watts near enuff once set stays there (and some evods dont fit the z max) hope this makes sense

Second the zmax.

Refused to buy one for ages. Bought one, and will now extol it's virtues to any who care to listen, and many who don't ;)

I use shed loads of different atty's/clearos/tanks.

For sheer ease, evod/ts3 from kanger are both very good, and work fine on my telescoping zmax.

I think at last count I have 8 vv or vv/vw devices, and the zmax wins :)

Can't go far wrong with a good old carto tank either, though it depends how often you change flavour :D

All in my very humble one of course :D

All the above are great you can also find hundreds of reviews on YouTube just type in what your looking for and choose what fits you best try todd ecigreviews

I prefer my Zmax but the Vamo can be picked up for less than half the price and is a solid bit of kit.

I have been looking into LifePo4 batteries. They are not as volatile as Lithium Ion but are only 3.2v opposed to 3.7v for a Li-ion. I am also unsure about the capacity.
Two cells would give 6.4v so could theoretically create a variable voltage device from 6.4v down to whatever with the use of some step down electronics..

You will never hear me speak ill of the vamo. One of the first 'serious' mods I bought, and still a valued member of the family.

But sticking with the familial analogy...

If the zmax is the attractive cousin that made you think 'well, she isn't a BLOOD relative...'

The vamo is the elderly aunt. You have a lot of affection for her, she's had a full and productive life. You even feel slightly endeared to the faint hint of piss in the air. But it just isn't the same! (I assume, different strokes for different folks, but personally barely a semi for poor old Aunt Prudence'

How fiddly do you like your vaping?

If you want the best possible flavour and don't mind wrapping coils I'd get an IGO or an Octopus dripping atomiser, and I'd wrap 'micro coils' in it for maximum flavour.

I'd sit that on top of a ZMax. The V3 is the current model and you can get 2 different looks, a flat top or a slanted top. If you aren't too bothered about telescoping and using different sized batteries in it and are planning on using it in 18650 length anyway then you can probably find a v2 ZMax for less than the v3, electronically they are identical, only the styling and the telescoping parts are different.

Vamos are cheaper but they will wear out sooner, particularly the top connection threads are more likely to break. A Zmax is not without faults either. Inside the Zmax the electronics are glued in. On some units this can come loose causing the button to move off centre, which can give you occasional misfires. Of the two though the Sigelei ZMaxes are better build quality.

If you have budget to spend and want the best quality then a Provari is about the best VV thing you can buy - though it's 3 times the cost of a Zmax.

If you really like to gets your hands dirty and tinker then the best flavour is to be found on a Genesis atomiser, the easiest tank to learn to setup is an RSST, they're also relatively cheap though if you want to get the best out of Genesis then you'll end up with a mech mod as you need a lower resistance coil on a Genesis which doesn't work too well with a VV/VW setup. Cheap mechs are £40 (really cheap ones aren't worth the savings) but this is offset by the fact that you'll want to use high calibre batteries in them. You can use cheaper batteries in a regulated mod like a vamo or a ZMax as they have protections built in to them. Mechs don't so it's highly recommended to get high capacity IMR batteries for mech mods which bumps the overall cost up.

If you don't want a fiddle at all then I'd go with a Taifun or a Spheroid atomiser right now. Easy to use and setup but you're looking at about £100 for one. I'd rather spend money on a quality atomiser and an average battery than an average atomiser and a quality battery if I had to choose.

Atomisers like vivi novas or protanks are OK, but the flavour you get from those is no comparison to a dripping atomiser, so if you're after a sit at home in an easy chair kind of vape and don't mind dripping into it every so often that's what I'd go for.

An IGO L is about £12 an octopus is about the same price, enough wick and wire for a good while will cost you about £10 a v2 ZMax kit is around £65 a v3 Zmax kit is going to be about £80+ an SVD (similar to a ZMax v3 different looks) is about the same price as a v3 ZMax a Vamo kit is about £60 I'd probably get a ProTank as well £15ish for the times I didn't want to drip they're probably the best and most robust lower end tanks on the market atm. I'd stay away from Polycarbonate plastic tanked anything, a carto tank is a reasonable faff free vape as an alternative to a protank.

(all UK vendor prices) you can get lots of this stuff 'direct from China' but you have to wait 2-3 weeks+ for delivery and warranty/customer service can be patchy.
