Not hard. Just have some Epoxy of Hot Glue to hand, along with a soldering iron and drill with a few bits.

I like it. Not half as messy inside as you said. Vapes pretty well. fits comfy in the hand, and the button is nice and clicky

I think it could have been tidier but would have cost more in bits.
It's a simple thing to do and will draw up details at some point.
