Absinthe goes well withh ....?

Dont know about lemon. Someone has put a citrus absinthe reciepe up in one of the posts.

Inawera blackcurrant is lovely cant say about lemon coz im a noob and still learning maybe someone else van give you better direction.

have a link for that one? didn't turn up in search.

not even the sour ones?
It's lovely to me.. Although I suspect a big percentage of people would hate it...

I love absinthe and aniseed. I make about 5 different mixes using them that I use a lot, including Strawberry, Blackcurrant, lemon, lime, grapefruit, blackberry, apple....

This is my main ADV at the moment:

I used FA Anise in the next batch, I prefer it.

The Absinthe / Anise is very strong to start with but it fades a lot within a week or two so a high percentage is needed for how I want it.

You could add less if you were making small batches that would be vaped before it fades.

this is super helpful! I'll try lemon absinthe!

I've been hitting the Licorice, Blackcurrant, Anise and Apples for the past couple of weeks! Mostly Flavourart (try their H2OMG) but I particularly like Inawera's Bahraini Apple Gold mixed with Flavourart's Apple Fuji with just a touch of Blackberry (FA) and Lemon (Inawera).

A touch of Lemon in all fruit combinations adds zestiness I find.

I have been known to add tobacco concentrates (home brewed )and I think I've also mixed all my other concentrates to anise/aniseed/licorice, with varying results. The lemon produced aniseed ball sweets flavour, the tobacco produced a slightly fruity hint, the coffee produced almost "technicolour yawn" flavour (puke ) but from memory, that was the only juice finished up down the sink.

in rly not looking for a fruity side to it. more a fresh side so maybe i should be a little adventurous and try a bit of mint to it.
