I've been reading about the differences and it seems salt nic is full of additives whereas the freebase isn't. I haven't tried it yet but the harsh throat hit mention is making me think I might struggle with that, it took my lungs a while to get used to vaping

just give it a try. most of us started on regular nic. i think most members here are still puffing it. if it’s too harsh just take wee puffs until you get used to it.

try starting on 3mg or 6mg to see if you can handle them. then keep uping the nic.
nic salt 20mg are as smooth as 3mg freebase but i tried them once and got a massive head rush as i continuously have a mod in my hand so gave up the nic salts there and then.

So I'm on the freebase this morning, the first few puffs was harsh but I am getting used to it so think I will be a freebase smoker thanks for all your help.
Oh 1 other thing, when I'm looking at juices online some say nic salt amd some don't. How can I tell from the bottle or advert that its a freebase of it isn't mentioned?

If it does not say it's nic salts then it must be freebase.
