Hi Scrumpox,

the few times I've vaped I take it down as I would if smoking a fag. Is this what you mean? Do some folk vape as if a cigar or pipe and not get a lung hit?

Still getting used to the jargon!

mouth to lung is like a cigarette... sucking vaper into your mouth and then inhaling

direct to lung is just that... you breath it straight in then out

IPV D2 75W TEMPERATURE CONTROL BOX MOD - Mods, I have one of these it is great, can be used for both styles of vaping and you dont need to use the temp control, you need special coils for this anyway. This would deffo be worth getting as it will run pretty much anything you want to try. Its small and fits nice in your hand too.

the SONY VTC5 batteries are the best you can get, you could go for samsung r25 to save money there still very good and would be fine for you

the FREEMAX STARRE SUB OHM TANK V3 is very good if you want a full on SUB ohm tank for direct to lung vaping, Uwell Crown SUB OHM TANK is excellent too
if you want mouth to lung go for an Aspire Nautilus or Anyvape Peakomizer V2 these would also use less power and juice

Hi Freddie I found that I grew with the kit so having an overpowered device initially doesn't mean you have to take advantage of all it has straight away just gives you options down the line as you find the right vape for you. My first real mod a few years ago was a pioneer4you 7-30 watt which I was using an aerotank at 12 watts for a few months before getting some subohm kit but having the extra power meant I could keep up (for a while and ubtil shinyitis set in). I will say that the freemax tank is more geared towards lung inhales so an aspire nautilus might be more down your alley unless you feel comfortable with lung hits... Bear in mind that subohm set ups (like the freemax) will use up more juice and at nicotine strengths higher than 6mg might be a bit much. In terms of battery though you're always going to benefit from having more power to hand if just for longevity of the device
