Having got a vaporesso luxe II in a very generous giveaway on this site I need some advice

The mod takes two batteries.
I have two but they are slightly different.
Both Sony.
One vtc 5A
One vtc6
I think it would be best to get a pair of batteries what would be recommended?

Having not tried the unit yet not sure if the 0.15ohm coils will be a little low for my vaping.
Having not used this type of mod am I right I can fit any 510 type tank?
If so what would be recommended?

Thanks for any advice given
I MTL vape.

Hello mate

Paired batteries would always be reccomended and fogstar is the site to look on.

Anything from about 0.8ohm upwards is normally quite a good range for MTL vapaing although saying that if something works for you then it's all good. I'm not sure what coils the tank takes but have a search and there will be reccomended wattage with each.

Yeah the mod can take any tank and coil aslong as the wattage on the mod allows but for MTL your be fine
Tank wise I would reccomend the fireluke 22 with the 1.5ohm coil in mate great at 12w with some salts in

I'm also about to go to the post office with my prizes for you and with the zlide kit you get the innokin zlide tank which is spoken highly of for a mtl vape

Thanks for the advice.

Never thought of the one you are sending doh.

The vaporesso does upto 220w so think most things are covered.

The coils are gt mesh think I saw they do upto 0.7 ohm but may be mistaken.

I can't remember if I got the batteries or the charger from fogstar.
Have been looking on there and 18650 via the discount code link but a lot of the batteries are out of stock.

It would be best to get a pair of matched batteries. The two batteries you have at the moment are different capacity - the VTC5A is 2,500 and the VTC6 is 3,000mah, if you use them as a pair the VTC5A will discharge faster than the VTC6 and be at a lower voltage and have to work harder as it will have to provide more current - the chip in the mod may be able to balance charge (personally I wouldn't rely on it and would advise buying an external charger) but it cannot balance discharge two batteries in series. The mod will work with mismatched batteries but I wouldn't recommend it.

When it comes to batteries it is best to buy the ones that suit your vaping habits - if you are likely to be vaping up to 90 watts a pair of VT6, Samsung 30Q or similar 3,000mah 15 to 20 Amp batteries would be a best buy, if you are likely to go higher than this you would be safer with a pair of 25 Amp VTC5A , Molicel P26a, P28a or similar. The Amp rating is more important than the mah capacity for high powered devices - if in doubt go for the higher Amp batteries.

Don't be tempted to buy 3,500mah batteries as they are designed for low power use only and are totally unsuitable (and unsafe) in a high power device.

Vaporesso Luxe - good choice.

Innokin Zenith II is about to come out. Apparently the airflow options go from very tight MTL to a restricted DL. Think it's 5ml if you buy outside of UK.

Thanks @rew i didn't know about the Zenith II so might get it myself once released, i quite like the original Zenith and hope the 2nd is as good.
