Hi guys, I brought a Innokin Endura T22 Pro about 6 weeks ago (recommended by the vape shop) however he said the coils he gave me should last 4-5 weeks but I'm having to change every 2-3 days. I am using T18E (1.7019 - 13.5 watt) on the lowest setting and use Pukka Juice 50/50 (as at the shops recommended). I am ensuring that I am saturating each new coil but its still happening. Any advice or is this what I should expect?? Many thanks for the warm welcome and any advice greatly appreciated

There are a few things that could be going on. First is that the juice is too thick, if it's 50vg 50pg then that rules it out. If it's 70vg 30pg then that could be your issue.

Also you probably shouldn't expect to get 4 or 5 weeks out of a coil, it's usually a week or 2 if you're vaping heavily. Saying that 2 or 3 days is not good so there's something going on. It's possible you just have some dud coils, it does happen and sometimes you can get a few duds in a row.

Finally, how do you vape? If you're taking lots and lots of draws in a row then the coil might not be able to keep up the wicking so it's drying out and burning. This shouldn't really happen with those coils if you've got 50/50 juice but I suppose it depends on how fast and long you are taking a draw for.

Lastly it could be that the juice you're using is full of sweetners sweet juice tends to clog up coils quickly. Is there a lot of gunk on the burnt out coils? That would suggest the juice is to blame.

Thank you Gitchy - I do tend to take small draws but in quick succession and the juice flavours I tend to go for are sweet ie. Berry based which I assume contain lots of sweetener as you suggested. I hope the coils are not duds as I did and do get them from a vape shop but there's no guarantee I suppose. The current juice I am using is clear in the bottle but turns to a light amber colour which is when I notice a different taste and know the coil is gonna go!!

Hi @CarlyCoops and welcome to the planet.

The @Innokin T22 Pro is a great little kit and the coils are usually excellent so I doubt you've got a box full of duds.

If your juice is changing colour it sounds like it's getting too hot. I doubt it's because you're taking too many puffs. I think it's more likely you're letting the juice level get too low before refilling. Try keeping more juice in the tank and see if that helps.

Best wishes.
