Hello folks. My names Martin and been vaping for a week and a day now!
I smoked horrible stinkies for 24yrs and never tried giving up in that time at all.
I've not got the willpower and knew I'd fall at the first hurdle, patches or otherwise!
Went down whats probably the most common route and got a CE4 starter kit from a local shop.
In the first couple of days, had the urge to open the Lambert box, but kept busy to take my mind off it and once I was sat in my favourite chair in a ploom of cherry and Dr Pepper that urge had well and truly gone! Now that over a week has passed, the urge hasn't come back and I've not touched a stinky since the day I got vaping.
Had the what seems like common dryness and tickly throat for the first few days
though after a weeks' now passed, that's all but gone. I suppose that's to be expected with the "changeover" and lets face it, an analogue leaves you feeling dry and makes you want a drink so that happening with an e-cig is no biggy. I think more that I'll still have the same thirst after a good vape, the same as if I was having a good smoke. But without with the god knows how many chemicals and burning acrid smoke off those horrible jobbies. At the moment, only vaping about 2ml a day though some days that can be almost doubled with a fruity juice that brings on drooling. They're so bloody tasty!
Now its time to look at something with a little bit larger juice capacity, a second higher capacity battery and stock up on juices and paraphernalia. I know that I'm going to get shinyitis. No matter how much I say I won't I'm like a magpie for new, shiny and buyable gadgets
