Welcome, I was smoking for around the same time as you when I quit and started vaping, had tried to give up many times before but just could not kick the habit.
Try to keep things simple until you get your head around this vaping lark, it's a lot to take in and you are going to get so many people telling you to get this and that, to be fair, probably not suitable for you.
Took me a while to find the setup I wanted and that I liked. Would highly recommend the NatureVape system for a couple of months, Marks coil is rewickable (you can change the cotton) and so many videos on YouTube and Marks channel showing you how to do this.
NatureVape Mini Pro Tank will cost you less than £20, little bit more expensive but that £20 will keep you going for around three months, give you a similar experience to smoking.
Manabush would be an excellent choice of liquid for using in this tank, you want something which is 50 Pg & 50 Vg, his tobacco range is flavourful and well made, also you can use a discount code from PotV site to get it a little cheaper.

Stick around the forum, read, ask questions and have fun! You'll be converted in no time and it will be like you never smoked.
I'd recommend the Nautilus Mini with 1.8 ohm coils. It's very similar to the smoking draw and you can get them on Amazon, alone or as a kit
These guys here know everything between them so don't be afraid to ask questions, no matter how small you think they are.
