Age increasing resistance?

Good evening vapers,

I'm pretty new to coil making and not particularly savvy when it comes electrical theory. Ok I know ohms law and how to use a multimeter but that's about it.

I was wondering why over time (about a week or so) my coils gain a bit of resistance?

Not really a big deal on my VV device but I'm thinking that may be one of the reasons why I get less of a hit on my fixed voltage devices as my coils age.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Gunky coils, it all builds up, you could try giving it a rinse and a dry burn to give it a bit of zip.
