This review is purely my opinion, and no way reflects those held by this website www.planetofthevapes.co.uk
Vendor:- Vapegear
Cost:- £9.99
Consists of:-
2 x times polycarbonate tanks, 1 standard, 1 XL.
Stainless steel end caps
Screw protected fill hole to top cap
locking "plinth"/extension plate
Excludes:-
Cartomizers
Drip tip
Was looking for a tank that looked decent, took standard cartos and didn't constantly dump juice all over my clumsy self. So far so good!
To start, you pop the thread through the bottom end
cap. The bottom of the cap narrows, so the threads can't poke all the way through. From here you screw what's left of the thread into the locking plate... straight forward as anything.
Personally I take this opportunity to punch a hole in the carto, as with the base in place, you know where you're aiming
The tube and ends are screw threads as well as opposed to just being push shut... which is a nice touch.
Filling is simple. Before you add a drip tip, just unscrew the small screw on the top thread, grab syringe, the rest writes itself. Worth baring in mind if you don't have at least some airflow coming out of the tank whilst filling, it may force liquid back up the carto (tasty!)
For the price, it looks tidy, though with the locking plinth it is bordering on the large side.
Another word of warning. The 510 connector on the base is rather long. Hold it next to a vivi or a Vapeonly BCC and you'll see what i mean!
On both my vamo and tesla, it creates a short if you attach it tightly.
Other than that, it's a cracking bit of kit, plenty of options and at the price point, I personally haven't seen much better in the limited time I've been looking
