Airflow and its effect on flavour notes - still amazes me

I'm guessing that the drip tip things is because it alters where the vapour hits your tongue. If I remember correctly (big if) then tastebuds are grouped in specific areas.

But I sill wonder if the angle / airflow of a drip tip can generate differences in how the vapour is perceived.

Velocity/ speed as well? Like gas or water running through a 15mm copper pipe, the smaller gauge pipe makes gas and water flow faster but the actual volume of gas or water is lower, than it is in a 22mm copper pipe, I think that's how it works

As far as I am concerned being a semi professional luddite ...... It's all down to the Bore of a Drip Tip? I know that I am now using far narrower bore tips than I was back before things started to go wrong with newest health problems.
I can't really get on with Big Bore Tips, never have really, but now as my swallowing is getting rather more hit and miss, I find a more narrow bore is far easier to cope with. Thankfully I still have just about every Tip we have received with Tanks etc over the years, so still plenty to experiment with.

Case in point.... Just changed the drip tip on the Abyss from the supplied one to the narrow one in the Ether Bridge Box....... WOW!!!! Brilliant. Again, far more focused, intense flavour.

Have found that the under coil inserts can make or break an RTA for MTL.

Being a self confessed Simpleton I seem to stay with two forms of Coil Wire when building, either Straight old Kanthal, or occasionally SS316L. I do find that SS316L has a nicer freshness to it off the bat, and have it in 2 of the 4 Dvarws. So what about you chaps and chapesses?
I AM talking about plain Round Wire Single Coil Builds and not Claptons etc.

Best mtl drip tip I've ever bought. 3 different colour tips to choose from and if you unscrew the coloured tip you can then insert any one of various sized inserts to adjust bore size before screwing the tip back on.

You wouldn't think something like a different Drip Tip would make such difference, i was going to mention the Berserker MTL, i get what i think is the best MTL vape yet for me at least with the Drip Tip that comes with that Tank. The funny thing is i have other Drip Tips that look identical almost that aren't as good. I am glad that others have mentioned this because i thought i was going round the bend.

The 'serker drip tips are perfect for me, I picked up a few drip tips for the original RTA a while back because I liked them so much, The new v2 mini comes with 3 different drip tips which are again, spot on, It's definitely the narrow bore of them. I've had MTL RTAs where I just didn't get on with the drip trip, that's where the spare Berserker drip tips came in handy
