An Irish G.P criticises WHO

Nicely balanced response and bang on the harm reduction message.
I can't help but wince whenever I hear people say that what we exhale is largely water vapour - it's not, is it? I don't have any juice that is largely water, it's PG/VG so that must be most of what I exhale. Or can someone point me to research that says different?
Just saying really, I know PG/VG is a lot safer than tobacco smoke, but if we persist in being "economical with the truth" someone will call a lie to this argument that we're simply blowing water molecules around.

Thanks for posting this... a good informed piece of writing from within the medical profession for once. Yahoo!

I agree, as nice as it is when someone defends vaping, it would be nice if they defended using facts. otherwise its just bullshit v bullshit and not really any better than those who attack vaping by saying its worse for you than smoking.

Would also like the facts on this... cause what we exhale isn't the same as what we inhale strictly speaking. .. second hand smoke isn't caused by exhalation either as most seem to believe it's from the burning of tobacco. .. what I exhale from vaping may be nothing more than water vapour I don't know but if I vape on a dripper it will put out some vapour other than what I inhale... this surely contains vg/pg unless vaporising converts it to water which I think is not likely. .. I can see why such simplifications are used but purely out of interest I would like to know the full science here...
