Hi guys. I bought an alien mod when the first came out. Proper liked it but after just 3 weeks it gave up the ghost. I emailed the company I bought it of but got no reply. The engineer in me decided to take it apart and have a look for any obvious faults but to no avail. Would really like to get another on as it is a cracking little 2 battery mod. Has anyone had any bad experiences with it or is it on the whole considered to be reliable?

Some companies it is easier to get a hold of them via social media, so if you have a facebook get messaging.
Or if you paid via paypal you can try et your money back as the device was faulty well within the guarantee limit.

Some have said about he gadget in question, so a wee search on here could well be worth your time.

what gave up. is it dead. did you do a firmware update.

ive got 2 on the go and no issues what so ever and used every day since release.

Miss reads the resistance. When I take it apart and put it back together it is spot on. When I change the batteries it goes out again. It is out by a long way. In a side note, does anyone know where you can get a revision b one from?

Yeh I stalk everyone all the time look out of your window I'm the crazy one in the street looking right at you from the bushes [emoji23] when I see a problem I check into the op history on the forum to get a feel for what they know or don't know and it seems you know how to break mods [emoji23]

Could this be a problem thats been caused by an atty with an overlong 510 thread - there have been a few cases of mods reading wrong resistance due to the 510 becoming damaged by a particularly long atty 510...

However the Alien 510 is particularly long. Unless the op is vaping on a bird bath?

Same atty causing problems with multiple mods sounds like a good theory to me.
