sorry about all the questions people.
But here is another one .
Do you have to sterilize your mixing equipment or is it ok to clean with hot water .

It's one of those that is user discretion really.
Milton tablets are mentioned a lot for mixing kit and keeping separate kit for mixing stronger flavours like menthols/anise.

Mostly a long soak in hot soapy water and a damned good rinsing is fine.

If they're used solely for your mixing, just warm water and a few drops of washing up liquid then rinsed out should be fine.

I like to do the miltons thing before I do a mix but I am only mixing about every 6 weeks or so.

I just was it in fairy liquid and warm water and a long rinse.
