Anyone on here play a sport regularly and found vaping has had an effect on it? I'm a club level racing cyclist, used to smoke until a few months ago and have seen some improvement since I started vaping, but not as much as I'd hoped for. Just wondering if anyone's has found replacing cigs with ecigs has given anyone a noticable fitness improvement?

It takes about a year after you stop smoking for your body to return to "normal" so you might not notice any major changes until after about 4 months or so :)

And yes. I smoked for 22+ years and couldnt walk up the stairs without feeling like I was going to die. Im fat too, so I notice the change a lot. I dont wheeze anymore either. :D Ive been vaping 2 yrs now

Iam not 'sporty' but I do run around and play football with my rather hyper border collie.
I noticed that after about six months after starting vaping that I wasn't getting out of breath as much.
i am now approaching two years vaping and feel fit as a fiddle!

Yeah, sort of. I don't really do sports any more. I studied karate for years, and used to love competition fighting. I'm too old now for that sort of thing. But I do love working out. Got a garage full of gym stuff, weights etc. I have noticed an improvement in my breathing since I gave up cigs. So yeah, It's working for me.

I go caving/potholing on a reasonably regular basis. It's more of an endurance thing than a sport as such. It's certainly a bit easier now after 10 months off the fags.

Greetings, fellow caver!

I'm hoping vaping will improve my breathing during underground exploring too, although my preference is for abandoned mines. I quit the stinkies at the end of February and haven't noticed a whole lot of difference yet apart from being able to taste food again.

Mines?
Scary places..... They always look like they're about to collapse! Give me a nice solid cave any day. Whereabouts do you do your mine exploration? Most of my caving is in the Dales but I have been known to get down to Derbyshire and as far as the Mendip.

Mendip and Devon, mostly, although the Wiltshire stone mines are on my doorstep as well :)
