What's new

Anybody know if Hangsen ejuice is any good???

I'm almost certainly being biased here, but I have a feeling that the liquids that the anti-vaping crowd have tested and found wanting are low-qual liquids from china, so I tend to steer clear of anything that hasn't been made up within the UK or Europe. This isn't an indictment of Hangsen or Dekang, I just think that the greater the number of barriers we can put up against them, the greater the number of barricades we have to fall back on.

EDIT: Should have mentioned, take a look at these three:

Yes, I agree as well. I mean I heard hangsen eliquid is good and so on but I feel I can trust more an European eliquid. Might be bit more expensive but just a bit

I like some of the Hangsen liquids, they're great for new vapers to try lots of different flavours. I prefer Dekang though which has stronger flavours.

Of course you can pay a lot more for 'premium' liquids but they're expensive to try. Who wants to spend six quid or more for 10mls of something you might not like? How about 60 or 70 quid just to try out 10 new flavours on a premium site?
There's room for 'value' liquids and there always will be IMO.

I've had quite a few Hangsen liquids since I started, usually stick a few in with an order from FT to bump the price up to free tracked del, but had very mixed results

Lemon is absolutely vile though, the rest (fruit/drink ones) are weak in flavour compared to other brands, throat hit is pretty much non existant as they are a 80/20 mix IIRC

Had better flavours from other vendors like Liqua and better flavours on top of that from UK made juices. It's cheap but not terrible

No experience with Dekang (yet) so can't comment

Hangsen RY4, with an extra touch of caramel... lovely... though taste is, ofc, personal.

I tend to think that the manufacturing standards of Hangsen are streets ahead of most UK/EU manufacturers so refuse to pander to the 'anti-china' argument of the likes of Deborah Arnott. Prejudice. It's ugly.

As an aside, it takes time to discover the bestest juices and flavours... which work and which don't... and vapertongue can set in and tastebuds become clouded. The Hangsen RY4 flavouring essence, for example, is far more tobaccoey than their pre-made juice... but for me, again best tempered with some caramel or toffee. Their blueberry concentrate makes far better juice than the pre-made... much more flavourful, even at 5% it can fight past black cherry (which tends to overpower other concentrates, at least for me). Having said that, Hangsen caramel concentrate is pretty weak... not a patch on the Capella.

I'm sure I'll be vaping for decades and still be discovering :D

When I was a full time pipe smoker a lot of the "over the counter" corner store cheaper pipe tobaccos were very often much better than the premium deluxe tobaccos from "top" pipe tobacco companies; which is what I've found with eliquids, same thing good and bad in either extreme. I have to say I've had some seriously nice flavoured juices from Hangsen and some seriously nasty flavours from top sellers, and visa-versa. All down to luck at the end of the day.....

there's a place called smokshop http://www.smokshop.com which sells a lot of hangsen. I used them for lots of different hangsen trials when I first started.

They are in Norfolk I think and where I have moved on from some of their stuff, I still use the deluxe menthol and the expresso - my "perfect" anytimers which I seem to always go back to.

Though I buy from others now and they are (usually) better, I think I mean different lol. I can always get a reliable vape from those two.

It's all a matter of taste.

Happy new year

Amazing vaping is quite a good company for fairly cheaper juices, I bought loads of their mixes, some good others not, the usual, quite a bit cheaper though, think they do a 60/40 vg/pg ratio. Blueberry from Hangsen was totally amazing, I must try and get some more of that from Smokshop, also the gingerbread is nice, though i'm not too keen on the high pg mix, but they say you can get a high vg Hangsen mix.

Hilary reminded me... Hangsen do a 'Mint King' - a mix of spearmint, peppermint and menthol... not as wild as the menthol but for someone (like me) that loves spearmint, it's a corker and a great palette-cleanser when other juices lose their tang... while lacking the nostril-widening rapture of pure menthol.

As ever, I add spearmint to it... Capella spearmint. And a touch of Ethyl Maltol. Scrumptiousness and wondrous mintygoodness :D
