Thanks to the link from Wraith, I was browsing the Ampulla site last night, and have a few items in my basket, but I was thinking about getting some plastic bottles for on-the-move top-ups - far easier than wrangling a pipette without a stable surface to hand.

I was looking at these ones as I like the tall, thin dropper

10ml LDPE e liquid plastic bottle

but wondered whether I could re-use them or not? It didn't take long for me to make the move from pre-mixed to DIY when I figured out the price differential, but the few bottles I do have, I'm struggling to remove the dropper insert to re-use them. Does anyone know if these ones are easy to get out? If not, can anyone make a recommendation please?

Hi, it looks like you can as they the nozzle is press fitted (disclaimer I have never used them)

Haven't used these particular bottles but I can vouch for ampulla used to use them for sample pots for waxes on detailing world :)

Used these type of bottles and very reusable, just give em a good wash or stick em in dishwasher.

Are the bottles you have LDPE or the clear hard plastic? The tips are easy to remove in LDPE ones they are quite soft compared the the clear ones. Can't remember the type of plastic they are.

I assume they're LDPE as they're kinda cloudy and soft but even with the help of pliers I don't seem to be able to pry the nozzles out.

Thats strange, I just bite around the edge of the nozzle and twist and pull a little and it pops out.
