aquarium air pump

True legend of vaping - the way he describes the science behind his theory is mind blowing.
And no-one noticed he's combed his hair forward to cover his bald spot.

Sent from my iPad using Planet of the Vapes

That aint a bald spot, its a solar panel to power the battery chargers he's wired into his arm pits.

Vapen-stein, ITS LIIIIVES !!

no airstone

I used to keep tropical fish, those damn airstones would clog up something rotten. Would I fancy cleaning one after using in a mix - not in a million years!
Why would you want the extra work and put up with the noise from the pump? Crazy idea. People have too much time on their hands sometimes.

Hi scrumpox, thanks for your reply though I wasn't thinking of using an airstone for the reason you stated. I can well imagine the mess it would be in after dropping in the juice. My thought was to put the plastic pipe from the pump into the juice bottle but use a fresh piece for each mix.

cheers all

Thanks for all your comments and I think I'll give the aquarium pump mixing a miss. Love the one about strapping the juice bottle to the car wheel (lol) but I'm sure I'll give that one a miss as well. Cheers.

unfortunately there is no real substitute for time and short breathing/warm bath stints letting the ethyl alcohol evaporate.

Mixing up the liquid well after making it is super important, but I anyone who is claiming weeks worth of steeping in x hours is self deluded.

Using a milk frother excessively will oxidise the shit out of you liquid, muting the aroma molecules and degrade the nicotine, using a ultrasonic cleaner wont make the ethyl alcohol evaporate faster, and using a aquarium pump will just introduce all sorts of airborne nasties and oxidise the shit out of you liquid IMHO.

Some people must like oxidised juice given the lengths people go to to speed it up or they will not vape it for months till it has gone dark.
Do almost anything to a juice and you can effect its flavour and if you like that effect all is good but there is no way of saying whether what one person thinks is an improvement will be considered an improvement by others.
You want to get rid of the ethanol others use vodka in their mixes.
It is one of these areas where people can try what they want and decide for themselves if it leads to improvement or not but there is no correct way.

Fair point.

But, I would argue there are quicker and easier ways to get your juice in the same condition as deteriorated and muted, through the application of understanding the science behind it, like using less concentrates and lower nicotine in the first place. :D

Would totally agree that its all subjective, but we can still add the application of science over esoteric witchcraft, as you say:

It is one of these areas where people can try what they want and decide for themselves if it leads to improvement or not but there is no correct way.

But understanding why the liquid is improved, or not is key to replication and potentially more improvement, subjective or objectively.

Saying there is no right or wrong way is akin to saying there is no right or wrong way to make wine, as someone one happens to like the taste of vinegar more.

I do like your reasoning but if someone likes vinegar who is to say they should not have it.

To stretch the metaphor :) , I'm all for them having vinegar, just want them to understand how to make vinegar more easily, rather then having to go through the process of wine making and just hopping one or two bottles should happen to cork.

If someone is DIYing juice, understand why they like the juice is as important, as it can lead to a faster, cheaper and easier process.

Just trying to demystify steeping a little, just because I only bottle my juice on a full moon, while reading the Codex Gigas with one trouser leg rolled up and my left nipple exposed certainly doesn't mean everyone should have to regard that as the "correct" way to do it.
