Arrival of Evod

Since the beginning of last week I have been using an Evod copy and apart from having to fit a new "O" ring because of leakage it has worked very well, loads of vapour and the draw was just right so I thought I would buy a genuine Kanger Evod and things would be even better.

The proper Kanger Evod arrived this morning so I filled it up and gave it a vape, to be honest it was not as good as I had hoped for, very airy and not to much in the way of vapour production compared to the fake one. Has anyone got any ideas what I can do to improve it, not sure what coil it has as standard, maybe a lower ohm rating would help.

I'm using an EGO twist set a tad under 4v which was fine for the fake one.

Any help would be great.

Do you know what copy you have?

I could be wrong @tpw I think most come as 2.5ohm as standard, I would consider doing a recoil and replacement wick anyway. I have got Evods and they work just fine, try something like a 1.8ohm coil if you can.

I have noticed that this one has 3 air holes, with one of them blocked off I'm getting a vape more to my liking so maybe this and a lower ohm rating will sort it out

for the 1.8 heads.
If you ever get into recoiling the heads yourself. Try doing a 1.4ohm, awesome on an ego.

Some people remove the top wick, that usually does it!
