took the wrap off and it fits 100percent. but im scared to put the rebuildable on now lol.

no im not stupid enough to put it in lol it just fits without the wrap. ive loadsa batteries so stuck an old one in threw it in the bin there was just trying to see what the issue is, i thought it would just fell in and fitted like a glove.

had an old battery sitting with no wrap on it. and it just fell in and sat snug. but i didnt put the top on obviously lol.

I would not put a battery with no wrap on anywere near anything metal, including the bin,
You have to take it out and make it safe.
