Anyone else getting a dry type of vape with the aspire mulus using the 0.7 nautilus coils. I keep getting near dry hits using a 60/40 or 70/30 juice even at low watts 17/18w's airflow is around half to quarter open and it doesn't happen all the time which is weird oh and it also happened with the 0.4 Tigon coil and both coils were left to soak for at least an hour before they were used

Haven't use that tank, but have used the 0.7ohm nautilus coils. To be honest, I've never had good results with any of the nautilus coils when using anything above 50/50 ratio.

Are you chaining at all? I've heard of people using 70vg but they tend to take one pull every few minutes from what I've heard.

Don't have the Mulus, but either the coils are not wicking fast enough or not enough airflow or both. You could try sticking some pin holes in the cotton. It's supposed to help with wicking.

Might be worth a try this is the second coil nly put in yestarday the first one wasn't that bad for the first couple of days

No chain vaping every few mins but like I said it's OK at first then when I take a vape it might happend but could be a few vapes till it happens and not long drawn out vapes either maybe a few secs

Actually there are 2 different 0.7 ohm coils, a standard kanthal and a mesh one. Don't know if this makes a difference with the size of the wick holes. Also there is a 0.4 ohm coil. Maybe worth looking into

the one it came with was a mesh one and the ones I bought are just the 0.7 normal ones from what I can tell as it doesn't say on the box

Standard ones are 18 - 23 watts. Mesh are 20- 25 watts. It should say somewhere

When it starts to mildly dry hit, does it always happen every vape after that point? Or is it random and sporadic?

If it is random and sporadic, that would lead me to believe that it is gunk on the wire and not burning cotton. I get a similar experience from my rebuildables when they start to gunk up, random mild dry hits.

My experience was with the regular 0.7ohm coils, MTL at 15-17w in the Billet Box. Nice vape but coils only lasted a few days.

That's wat it says on the box 18-23w's for the ones I bought so it's non mesh ones I have should have guessed as the flavour is abit muted now

The Nautilus coils are let down by poor assembly at the factory. I've taken enough duds apart to understand the problems. See those four juice holes? Well only two are actually juice holes the other two are blocked off by the inner sleeve. The two which should actually wick should be lined up with the corresponding two slots on the inner sleeve but often they are not. Result is they don't wick well if at all. They are pretty inconsistent. Shame really because they aint bad when they work well. The other main fault is too much material jammed in there.
