Aspire pocket x problem

Hi there

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I'm having trouble with my aspire pocket x. I've recently just swapped out the coil in it for the first time and when I try and inhale nothing seems to come out. Could any one suggest what I might have done wrong and how I could fix it?

Did you get ejuice into by accident or possibly a dud coil ,this sometimes happens

Hi and welcome to the planet.

ive not used this kit so just guess work here.
when you press the fire button are you getting ant sound out of it at all.
weve seen it before and will see it again but this has to be asked, have you pressed the button 5 times to turn it on.
next take the coil out and screw it back in again. could just be miss threaded so not making a contact at the bottom of the coil.
did the coil come in the box or did you buy separately.

I only added juice to the glass compartment as I should have. When I try and inhale with it it bubbles but no vape comes up. I am left with liquid on my lips though.

Did you use the spare coil it came with?

If so, they're different resistances (the spare in the box is 1.2 Vs the 0.6 installed)

What this means is, the new one from the spares, is less powerful, produces less vapour and uses less liquid.

Haha yes it's turned on. I get a bubbling sound and some times it seems like it's going to work properly but they no vape comes through and I just some of the liquid on my lips.

I've done a bit more research and it seems like I may have flooded the coil? I have dismantled it to drain just now and I have ordered a new set of coils too.

Forgot to mention it was the spare coil that came in the box that I'm using.

The spare coil I got in the box was 0.6 so is it the same as the one that was installed?

had to be asked as you would not believe the amount of times weve heard something was broken and it wasnt turned on.

as Huggett mentioned above, the spare coil is different from the one pre installed.
the 0.6 will give much more cloud. the spare is a 1.2ohm coil so for mouth to lung which will be a tighter draw and not give off as much cloud.

does sound like a flooded coil. best way is to take coil out and just wrap in some kitchen towel to soak up the excess juice.

No its just old and the (sealed) battery needs replacing, so I need a way of opening it up. The PockeX was originally black, the photo shows the end of the decice with the USB charge point. The I'm wondering if there is a way of opening it for jere

as its a sealed battery id personally say dump it and if your happy with the make buy a new one. theres plenty of new kits out there ince the x was released.
