Grab some EFEST batteries, those are pretty good, AW IMRS are as well.

Get a good charger like the XTAR and not some knock off cheapy (trust me you will appreciate having a good charger after 2-3 bad ones!)

Don't skimp on batteries, while cheap is appealing, these are the most dangerous bits in on PV's and it is always best to have a trusted/recommended brand.

The Nitecore i2 and i4 Intellichargers are really good IMHO, they even come with 12v car adapters included.. been using one for about 3 months and can't fault it
