Hi, I got my vamo and also some tanks, I bought a kanger protank, a vivi nova an x8 and also an innokin iclear 30, besides my vamo i have normal ego batteries and i have a innokin itaste vv/vw, the problems i am having are.
with the vamo i am getting loads of vapour but no taste even on a low setting i am getting a burnt taste with every tank or cleromiser i use which is a pain because i love my sweet tasting tabacco but everything tastes like air.

the other problem i am having is that all my tanks wont work on my vv battery or my innokin itaste vv/vw but they work on my cheap ego batteries, would a 510 to 510 adapter help them fit as i dont really wont to fiddle about pulling the pin out at the bottom.
Also would all VG juice in the tanks work better for the vamo than a 70/30 PG/VG based.
It has taken me ages to find the right juice I want, now I just need to find the right battery and cart to use it on lol, I have persevered and I am 4 weeks without a cig, I really love vaping but all I need now is some help please.

You need to make sure the Vamo is in RMS mode.

To make sure you are in RMS mode press one of the small buttons for about 15-20 seconds until it shows NO. 2, if you press the button and it shows NO. 1, repress the button again until it’s in the NO. 2 mode.

All VG would be very thick, and would produce a lot of vapour, but PG helps with flavour as I understand it.

I'd say your vamo is fine and as robteifi said, just make sure your in no2 .

I've noticed that in no1 mode you will get more powerful hits but its a bit less consistent.

Also if your using a new tank with a new coil, just start from the lowest setting just to wear it in a bit over a few hours, then just go up and down till you find what's working for you .

OMG thank you so much for the help with the vamo problem it was set to 1. It came with no instructions and didnt know what to do. I am now starting to get a warm vape which was lacking before, I thought I was going to have to toss the vamo in the bin lol I cant believe how more powerful it is to an ego, now if I could only fix it so my tanks will fit on my other batteries.

Glad that worked.

Can we clarify the issue? Which atomisers work on which batteries/mods? From your first post it seems that they all fit the ego batteries, but then fail on the iTaste etc? I'm wondering if one of your atomisers has a particularly long post that is pushing the post down on the mods. Don't overtighten them when you screw them in.

I cant get the protank or any dtc to work on both my itaste or my other vv battery, I love using the itaste the most but work on a standard ego battery, but the ego just isnt powerful enough to get enough vape and taste from it. I never over tighten I can swap and change them between all batteries but still wont work on my itaste or my other vv. I was reading on a review site that some others had the same problem and an adapter fixed the problem but when I looked for adapters there are so many different ones I didnt know what to try.

sorry if I sound dumb, I am new to all this and I love vaping, when I first started all I wanted was to find a tabacco taste liquid, now I hate the taste of tabacco so I dont want to go back to those awful ciggies lol

Does sound as though something like the V2 510 Shorty extension is what you want, but I'm having trouble finding a UK vendor that has stock - liberty-flights list them, but no stock unfortunately. Those would work but only for 510 connections it maybe an idea to get the 510/ego adaptor so if you ever get ego tanks you can attach too
