Hi,

I just bought a Voopoo Drag X Plus, and the 18650 battery does not fit, it's too tall. It was supposed to fit.

Can anyone help me with this?

Can you post a pic of the battery as I’ve got this mod and can state 18650 flat top fits just fine!

If using an 18650 do you have the battery sleeve the right way around?

@tolis626 had issues with his when using a Molicel 21700.

Are you using flat top batteries or the protected type with protruding positive connector?

Only unprotected flat top cells can be used in most vape mods. The protruding pin of button top cells will make them too long and potentially cause the problem you are experiencing.

Thank you. That is most likely the case.
So I should shop a "flat top" cell of the 18650, or 21700 type.

@Tom Roberts I wouldn't use an ultrafire battery as a paper weight. Tape up both ends and recycle it. Buy a battery from a trusted manufacturer. Sony, Samsung, LG, Molicel = all good. Ultrafire = not good. Not good at all.

Where did you get the 18650 button top from? Hopefully not from a shop/vendor as they should know better.

I concur ... DO NOT use that battery. It's a good job it didn't fit because it isn't fit for purpose and is likely a fire hazard.
