Hi been vaping for two weeks now and getting on fine(no stinkies). i started with a mini pro tank 2 which i still have.I have just changed the coil to one of the ones that came with the kit and find im not getting as much vape from it.The new coil says it is 2.2ohm but dont know what the one was that was in it when it came.do you think it might be bigger. if so do i need to upgrade my battery. I was thinking of getting a variable one so if anyone could advise on a good one as i havent a clue. Iwas lookin at an i twist. any good or is there something else i should go for . Any advice would be great. SORRY a vision spinner 1300 mah from my epack i was looking at

hi if after my 1st basic kit i got the jacvpour vv manual battery 3.2 - 4.2 worked great i would look around for at least a 1000mah as it will last all day.you need to be aware that all these batteries have a re-charge cycle of around 300 charges and cheapest isnt the way to go i believe that around £20 will be ok
the new ego twist i heard is good too

I think you are correct in that your original coil was lower resistance.

You can either order some more lower resistance coils or get a VV battery like the Spinner you mentioned.

Vision spinners are a good starter into the vv world,i had some for a while.

+1 on the spinner
As for the replacement coil, it might say 2.2ohm but as a rule of thumb, most are a little higher or lower than stated. If your original stated 2.2 it may have been only 2.0, where as the new one might be 2.4. Getting consistent coils is not easy, I make mine the same way every time, most come out at 1.5, but some will be + or - 0.1

One of the best things you can do for an upgrade is to get a VV device.

It makes a really big difference to the quality of your vape as you can turn the power up or down and find the best setting for each individual liquid you vape, what the time of day is, how you're feeling, what coil you have.

Stock coils can vary quite a bit from what they have stamped on them and a way of testing the resistance of a coil is a useful thing to have.

Lots of mid range mods have this functionality built in, but you can also get an ohm tester or even a cheapy multimeter that will do the same job.

When you're buying replacement heads always aim for 1.6ohm up to about 2.2ohms as a general rule of thumb.

Good brands of eGo batteries include Janty, JoyeTech, SmokTech AnyVape and Vision.

Thanks vaper caper for the feedback. am i right in thinking the bigger the mAh on a battery the better. sorry to be so thick but its all new to me and still only two weeks into vaping after smoking roll ups for 30 years plus.
