Battery Choice for FT hana mini DIY kit

Thats bad luck. You know what it was set at before it broke?

No idea, but with a multi meter on the pos & neg at the atty the voltage still goes up and down on the buttons when fired so the chip is still regulating power.
I may be able to use it in a custom box with 1 of them 1980s looking volt panels & set it as volts rather than watts.
Not exactly brilliant but not exactly a total fail.

Havin had a cuppa tea and a think about it Ill try with the other 30 board tomorrow see if i can get it in the mini case without righteously fuckin it up.

cheers.

Take the power all the way down then count the clicks as you go up. You'll be able to get it where you want it..

Starting to think this thing is jinxed.
Managed to get everything in the case with new board.
Ran it for a while from a remote 18650 no problems.
Hot glued everything in place.
Screwing down the earth to the body and the screw shears off.
No problem, drilled new earth point & screws down nice.
New 18500s arrive this morning start fettling some connections for em.
Give em a dry run in the case with the 18500 and have a quick toot at 30w.
Go make a cup of tea come back and I notice the red charge light is on.
Sat there looking at it & the thing starts smoking.
Needless to say USB charge board is toast.

Think im sticking to straight up mechs in future all this electrickery is feeling like too much hard work.

Well after a tad disgruntled previous post I have finally finished it.
Doing a back off test run in case any thing goes tits up and I need to get the battery out quick.
Feel free to point anything out Ive missed/done wrong as this is my first crack at a DNA build.
