Battery & mod pairing

OK so I now find myself with a wee selection of mods, and a few sets of batteries. Obviously I plan to keep the batteries in pairs, but is there any reason I shouldn't swap the batteries around between mods so long as I keep them in their pairs. I don't generally charge on my mods.

Also from this list of batteries is there any that people would say would suit any if the mods better than others?

18650 Mods: Vaporesso tarot pro 160, dripbox 60, noisy cricket 2

Batteries: Sony vtc4, Sony vtc5, Samsung 30q, LG hb6, all genuine.

I also have a couple of pairs of Samsung something or other that I'm not sure if they're what they're supposed to be but I'll stick a new thread up about them they were shipped out with the cricket but as yet haven't been near a charger let alone a mod until I can work out exactly what they are, if these turn out to be ok I'll probably keep these for the dripbox and not worry about pairing them as it's only single battery. I bought the hb6s to use in the cricket, but like to switch around between series and parallel every now and then (with appropriate builds, so swapping rda's at the same time). Is it a bad idea to swap between series and parallel on the same set of batteries?

As always any help or guidance in this area would be much appreciated, so, thoughts?

Hello :).

I have always just kept married batteries married, but used them in any of my mods. I mark them each, and on each use swap them from left to right in whichever mod I may be using.

My oldest batteries, which will soon be replaced, are around a year and a half old. I only have 2 sets of this age though, the rest are much newer.

The issue occurs when you use batteries that have aged differently, and haven't been used together from new. As long as the batteries are paired together, you can use them between different mods.

I don't see any issue just keep the pairs or even 3 batts the same, and just use them in the various mods that use them. Main thing is to keep the batteries together, they cannot tell what mod they are in after all.
