hey all... So I started taking up vaping 2 weeks ago and am so far, loving it!!

I have a sigeli 200w TC mod with a uwell crown and 0.15 ni replaceable coils

It's got me off the smokes, I enjoy it, no issues with the coil and I get good taste.

However, I'm starting to itch to see if I can get MORE flavour, MORE clouds, a BETTER hit....

I hear building your own coils is awesome for clouds / flavour once you master it, so I'm really keen to get amongst the YouTube videos and start learning!!

I've never built before, not even kanthal... Is it worth me learning to build this before building with nife ( think this is what it's called, the one everyone recommends?? )

Also - any suggestions on a good RTA/RDA to start with - I don't mind a drip or tank tbh, I'll be doing most of my playing at home in the eves whilst building so RDA is fine!

Thanks for any advice in advance!!

Well done kicking the cigs and welcome aboard the shineyitis train!

Best bet is to watch a load of videos and read a lot of howtos.

Nife is for temperature control mods, kanthal and/or nichrome for variable wattage (or mechanical) mods.

Can't go wrong with a Twisted Messes RDA and some 26 and 28 gauge kanthal for learning the ropes. Set of cheap precision screwdrivers, some ceramic tweezers, small sharp scissors and a vaping ohm-meter and you're good to go. A cordless, chuck-key-less drill and pliers as well if you want to make claptons or to make straightening lengths of wire a doddle.

Hey Wraith,

Thanks man! How long you been off the cigs?

Roger that - howto's and videos here i come! Think i'll take your advice and go for kanthal builds to start - get my head around it all, then go to Nife once i've learnt about all this spacing and words i don't really understand when i've been reading tutorials haha!

Good luck!

I've been off the ciggies since around October 2014. Best thing I ever did.
