What if the Amazon vendor is the company itself, like Efest?

I think some efest batteries are rebranded cells. I totally recommend going with a trusted vendor outside of amazon or ebay. P-Vaper, myepack, or any that have been recommended already.

They're good as long as genuine. I can't tell the difference at 0.2 ohms between those and VTC 4s. The pics certainly look like the ones I have. I believe these to be what is inside the purple Efest wrappers.

Its just the LG ones state 35amp 2500mAh and these purples state 35amp 2100mAh

They won't have anything like that capacity when discharged at 35A. The difference is meaningless really. The capacities are usually measured at discharge rates of C - that is 2500 or 2100mA.

What about the... IMR? AW? I've seem those come up too.

Beware of fakes - Expect to pay about £15-16 for a genuine pair.

Am I right in thinking the batteries in the pic below are fake because they say "ROHS" rather than "RoHS"?

I'm not so sure these days ? I've a few here that came from well trusted and respected vendors and they are the same.
