Initially it's directly from the 510 to the atomizer.
Now it's going through the heat sink 510 then the atomizer.

There has to be some energy loss?

There will be, but it will be minor and more than likely unnoticeable. Especially if you choose a heat sink with a particularly good conductor for the pins.

As above, yes you will lose a minuscule amount, but prob not more than not cleaning your mods battery contacts, mods 510 pin, the batteries positive and negative contacts and your atomisers 510 pin on a very regular basis... [emoji2]

Turns out it gets hot when I'm outside in the afternoon & there's not much air movement.
