Best Hassle Free Mod

HI Guys

I mentioned I got a 4nine mod in another thread but having alot of issues with it connecting to my kayfun.

So i Might start again and get myself a new mod from Fast tech. One that is a bit less hassle. I will keep my 4nine and keep playing with it as it is a nice looking mod.

So do you have any recomendations as of what to buy? Im looking for something in 18350 thats good quality and most importantly is reliable and compatible with alot of different tanks.

I had the same problem what I did was to sand down the black plastic space which is part of the top cap just by a ml as it was just sitting abit proud and not allowing the 510 connector of the kayfun to connect to the top of the batt and now every atty I have works 100% hope that helps

Kayfun wont fire on my 4nine

Actually now that I think about it. It wont fire on my MVP either the screw in the bottom of the connection isnt flush with the bottom so I guess its most likely the kayfun rather than the mod

When I loosen the screw to bring it flush the little block that the coil is sat ontop of becomes loose.

sorry mate i havent used a kayfun as yet so not much help here.

The little screw in the centre of the 510 connector is meant to sit slightly proud (0.5mm ish) of the surrounding screw thread. On some atties this is adjustable but on others you just loosen the positive pin as you have just discovered. Kanger clearos tend to sit completely flush which can cause connection issues and shorts, if yours is recessed it is definitely a fault and could cause a hard short when used on a hybrid connector like the one on the 4nine. I think you have a faulty kayfun

If you're looking for a faff free mod from FT....I can recommend the "Paragon" mod.....Here......copper top and bottom with a carbon fibre coated tube 1865.....One of the best (if not the best) mods I've ever bought.

Personally I would go with a nemesis or Stingray.
