Re your kayfun on a 4nine mod.
I had the same problem with mine. I removed the centre post and cut a small piece out of a plastic milk bottle to use as a spacer on the positive pin, now it protrudes enough to make contact and work a treat.
The other option is to go for a Russian, they should have an adjustable centre pin.

Just a tip if you are looking for the perfect spacer for the center pin I use the dropper from a juice bottle.You can get the perfect size as its usually tapered and its easy to slice thinly with a sharp knife plus we all have empties lying around so an easy supply route. Used this many times to fix melted spacers or just increase the pin sticking out from the thread.
