Best KFL Plus clone?

I actually hated the hcigar 3.1 clone I got. I had one of the first runs since I got it in a early co-op before any shops were carrying it... that could be part of the issue right there for me. The hcigar clone has one very big flaw many people are experiencing; which is the same flaw that happened to me. The main hollow screw in the center that holds the positive pole and insulator down snapped on me when tightening it down. I know what you’re thinking "I bet this idiot cranked it down way to hard"... which is kinda what I thought as well when it happened. Then I started reading and seeing all these posts were people had the same thing happen to them. People were even trying to set up a mass buy of center screws to add on to another hcigar co-op just to fix all the broken ones everyone had. I own a real kayfun 3.1, kayfun lite plus, Russian, Russian %91, and EHpro KFL and have never broken a single piece on any of them. Not a super big fan of the finish on them either… same with the Russian’s (although I really like my 91%).

It didn’t break right away….I got a tank or two out of it at least. The threading on it was a bit shallower than the Russians were as well. They might have fixed the issue by now, not really sure. Like I said, I had a super early run of them.

The new EHpro KFL+ clone looks pretty nice. It even comes with a large clear M-Style tank. I haven’t seen one up close yet though. Here’s what it looks like.

I've got the ephro kfl+. The threading isn't brilliant, even for a clone. The top cap only really bites when it's almost flush with the tank section, but it does bite enough (I therefore avoid this). The threading on the deck is super-tight, and I pretty much leave the bottom ss tank section attached permanently because of this. I had to change the o-rings in the top cap and on the deck as it was a leaky thing (I swapped them out with the spare ones that came with it). Fitting the top cap is very tight, so I now leave the top cap attached to the top ss tank section and the plastic section - I screw this assembly onto the bottom ss tank section to complete assembly. Other than that is't great once you get a good build down. I always fill from the bottom fill hole due to the problematic top cap.

Thanks for the review... sounds like usual clone type issues I suppose. I wonder if they'll fix it down the road on later runs. This seems to be a pretty new clone from them.

Does yours actually have the writing on the bottom around the 510 threading like the picture I posted does?

But the OP is looking for the KFLight not the 3.1??

No writing on mine at all, and the case doesn't have the ehpro logo like the picture does either - interesting. Mine came with a driptip adapter too which I can't see in the pictures you posted. I bought mine from a uk vendor that to my knowledge is reputable, so I'm not sure about the discrepancy with the images in your post.

Thanks guys. Decided to go for the Russian 91% from FT. Lots of good reviews and the wait will be worth it for the price. Next up will be finding a nano kit.
