Best wattage and airflow setting for Vaporesso Gen 80s

This is where the battery is at now. So is this the external battery meter? Or the internal battery. When the external battery runs out I assume I need to replace it or I can’t use the mod? Or would it then go on to run from the internal. On 30 little less than full airflow atm gonna try this

Ok thanks. SO maybe do you recommend coming off the nic salts? I have a few vampire vapes left over
most defo on this. had no idea you was using nic salts.
nic salts enter the blood stream much quicker and as they are much smoother you dont notice you are vaping them and can get a bit carried away. i tried when they first came out and within 15 minutes i had a headache and felt nausius.
salts are designed for much lower wattage in a mouth to lung tank.

When you mentioned Nic Salt Juices a little alarm went off in my head. What mg strength are you vaping? If you are vaping 10 or 20mg they are designed for low power (10 to 16 Watts maybe) MTL vaping. if you are vaping them in a DTL tank at higher power that could be part of your problem

If you are vaping strong mg juices in your tank I recommend you change to buying shortfills and nic shots and start at 3 mg.
I'm with you here. I also notice that he mentions he's been using 50/50 nic salt! That's gonna hit the throat at 30/40w for sure. Get a shortfill and a nic shot and try that at 3mg or get an MTL kit for 50/50 and you might find it suits better. I use the gti tank with the 0.2 coil at 42w and it does drink juice but if you're buying Vampire Vape 10ml liquids that's gonna cost a while lot more than getting a shortfills and adding nic to them.

as said above, for higher wattage tanks its best to use freebase nicotine at lower strength like 3mg as mentioned.
i started on 18mg when i first gave up with a mouth to lung tank.
as soon as i bought the first ever sub ohm tank i dropped to 3mg nic and have stuck there for over 7 years.

the only issue you will then have is the tank will still drink the juice quickly. thats why we suggested the bubble glass to hold 8ml instead of the 2ml you are using.
even with the 8ml im still filling it 5-6 times a day and im using other kits as well.
the only way to slow down the ammount is to get a mouth to lung tank at much lower wattage. a lot less cloud but still great flavour but you will save a packet on the amount of juice you use.

this confused me a little :)

an internal batter mod is a mod with a built in battery that cannot be replaced. this is fixed in the mod and you have to charge it using the usb cable. when the battery finally dies you throw the whole mod away.

an external battery mod is the one you have where you can replace the 18650 battery.
the battery can be removed from the bottom of the mod to charge in an external charger.
this mod can also be charged by using a usb cable that came in the kit but to be honnest even though at more cost an external charger is better so when the battery is drained you can have a spare fully charged to replace it and continue vaping instead of waiting an hour or two for the battery to fully charge.

this may explain the difference

I’ll just go back to the vampire vape at 10ml I enjoyed that and I’m supposed to be using high VG juices in this. It’s just I had a few salts left over. I’ve only had this mod less than 2 days lol

I'm not sure if you understood my question.

It is not an issue if you use Nic Salts or Freebase nicotine as 'Nic Salt; and 'Freebase' refer to the type of nicotine in the juice.

What is relevant is the CONCENTRATION of the nicotine in the juice you are using which is shown in mg (milligrams)

All ready to vape juices that contain nicotine in the UK come in maximum sizes of 10ml (millilitres) - most of these bottles will be designed for MTL tanks which have tight airflow and run at low power settings so will contain higher concentrations of nicotine because MTL tanks only vaporise a small amount of juice (the less juice that is vaporised, the stronger the concentration of nicotine needed to be satisfying). Typical strengths will be 12 or 18mg for Freebase Juices and 10 or 20 mg for Nic Salt Juices.

Most 0mg juices are available in much larger (60ml, 120ml or even 240ml) sizes. It is legal to sell them in the UK because they do not contain nicotine. They are sold in 'shortfills', which means a 60ml bottle will actually contain 50ml so you can add a single 10ml 18mg Nicotine Shot to make 60ml of 3mg concentration (you can use a Freebase or Nic Salt Nicotine Shot depending on your preference).

The current tank you are using is designed to vaporise A LOT of juice and run at much higher power settings - if you use high nicotine juice in this you will stand a chance of making yourself ill with the amount of nicotine you are ingesting. Your tank is designed to be used with 3mg concentration juices (6mg at an absolute maximum).

I think the reason you are struggling with 40 Watt power settings is you are probably vaping much higher nicotine levels than you should be with that tank - it is also the reason it is getting expensive as you are currently blasting your way through small bottles that are designed to be vaped in tiny amounts in a low power tank.

Trying to turn down the power really low so you can vape MTL strength juices on your tank will not work - it isn't designed to run at typical MTL power settings or be frugal with juice. You have a direct to lung tank that is designed to run at higher power settings and blast its way through large amounts of lower nicotine strength juice - and that is what you should be using with that tank

Unfortunately, if you want to vape Vampire Vapes MTL Nic Salt Juices with high nicotine levels you need to buy an MTL tank that is specifically designed for strong juices (unless you can find lower powered MTL coils that will fit inside your current tank).

If you want to continue with the same tank and high powered coils you really should buy a shortfill juice and nic shots (I recommend you vape 3mg juices)

High nicotine and high powered tanks are a combination that could make you very ill, so if you currently are vaping this way I recommend you change as soon as possible.

The battery is half now. That was 5 mins after my last post. Probably gonna go back to the shop tomorrow and tell them, I can’t use it like that
