Hi Guys,

Seen a few of you newer (and some veterans) members complaining they get dry hits/gurgles and leaks on their kayfuns and russians. I follow this method below and never ever have an issue, I have one genuine and 4 clone Kayfuns and have had same results regardless. I have attached a short vid of some higher voltage tooting on my IPV at 1.1 ohms with a 60/40 pg/vg juice using mouth to lung method.

Short vid of vaping using this methd at higher wattage - https://www.dropbox.com/s/ik6r5dgz4nrrffx/20140802_203128.mp4

NB - always make sure you have the appropriate batteries and research the safety prior to firing any build.

This is a wicked method....did this this morning and it works perfectly....nice one Darren ;)

Is this only for higher watts? I currently run my kayfun at 7.5 ~8watts..... might give it a go sometime.

Nice one, I am not hunting great big clouds, only the best flavour I can get from my tank/juice..... he mentions they little top wicks act like flavour wicks so tgat aroused my curiosity.

This will work fine at any watts, gives a nice clean flavour. Try it with rayon if you have any - even better!!!

Gonna have to give this a try next time I wick as I have literally just finished redoing one now

yep saw this method on another post yesterday, did it today with some jap cotton and it was 100% better

Do you not find the wicks down the side of the coil restrict airflow? How much space roughly do you have between coil and deck?

Cheers :D

about 1mm gap, airflow is unaffected as the thin wicks are inside and the fat ones are away from airhole.
