Black Box Mod Co.

Hi apes. So we’ve finished the stabwood version of Proto A.

The mod is stabwood with brass buttons, brass battery tube and accents of genuine brown (British!) leather running a DNA 75c board with the Black Box Mod Co. theme installed.

The screws look a bit wonky in the pics for some reason but in reality they’re aligned pretty well..

Any idea of a price for the mod you showcasd above?

Hi crusty, sorry I didn’t pick this post up until now.

I think for 3D printed we’d be looking around the £150 mark, and for stabwood around £210-£220. They’ll come with a lifetime warranty (accidental damage aside) and they’re presented in their own wooden boxes.

I know that the prices seem steep but there’s quite a few hours that go into each mod. We will offer mosfet and PWM mods as well that will of course be cheaper.

Once we’ve got everything in place I’ll make a proper post, with the mods permission outlining all the details though as these prices may change a little depending on how we get on

Thanks for the reply, to be fair i wouldn't dare risk the wrath of the Mrs by forking out that much but at least those with more disposable income and and appreciation for hand crafted goods would now have an idea of how much they need to put by. Lifetime warranty is a great offer but as a start up business that would also depend on a couple of factors.
I hope this didn't sound offensive because it isn't meant to be and i would like to wish you all the best with your venture. Good Luck:2thumbsup:

Not at all.

We’re aiming high end as we simply cannot compete at all with Chinese mod prices, but as you say it’s a handcrafted device.

I guess we’ll end up testing the waters and see how we get on
