i’ve even put a coil in it a bit skelly and had to curve the ends of the cotton to get it sitting on the bits and it still worked fine. the screws annoy me a bit, they’re not positioned very smartly.

mine is starting to get a bit janky. sometimes it’s very tight to twist it to the open position after i fill it. i’m no sure, i wonder if the thinness of gauge of the metal might be a problem, specifically the notches inside.

more likely to be the o ring ....lube it up or replace it

the one on top of the upper base/chamber bit? it’s strange, it’s
fine if i’m using it if left
for even a day it seems
to have seized up. once i twist it about for a few minutes
it loosens up again.

Aye that one....either lube it up every refill, or it maybe damaged, a wee tare that's hard to see most probably
