Broken button

Hi all wondering if some one can point me in the right direction here I have a kangertech mini top box 75w but I dropped it the other day and now the plastic power button doesn't click any more, it still works I have to press hard on the plastic button and some times it randomly changes from watts to ti or ss etc or it starts working by itself if not turned off I have opened and cleaned it with electrical solution and used some needle nose pliers to pull the button out but still no clicking the circuit board button needs to be replaced but no idea were to get it from

I would bin it - it's not worth trying to save it with the price of replacements, but if you don't have another mod I'd be very careful.

From what you've said I'd say there's a good chance of it auto-firing when turned off, so make sure you remove the battery when you're not using it.

You could pick up a new button for a couple of pounds but it's hardly worth it, any impact hard enough to ruin the board is likely to have damaged the board in some way. If you do want to source the button then you'll need to look at Mouser for tactile switches...

Thanks tubby engineer the board isn't ruined but the button just needs replacing once I turn it off it stays off it only plays up when it's on due to the button not clicking and needs to be pressed hard to work which then makes it stick and mess with the settings lucky it times out after ten seconds but I tend to turn it off after I vape and take the battery out just to be safe

if you are confident enough to open it could try can of compressed are around the button as dirt can get inside them and jam the button up, but with it being a kangertech bottom ill just go online and find one i think can get them new for £20 at some places !
