Built my first rba

So I recently built my first rba for a subtank but the coils were already pre coiled, its now time to change the wicks in my tank so my question is can I just swap out the cotton or do I need to replace the coils too? Also any recommendations on which coils and cotton to go for? I'm aiming at about 0.5 ohms, cheers guys

No, normally I just take out the old wick, dry burn it and re-wick.

Did you not get some cotton and some spare coils in the subtank box? They should be 0.5's.

I just tried the rba for the first time also. I found the coil to be very narrow and quite difficult to get the cotton through without ripping it. Anyway I failed and gave up.

Yeah I did get some spare but I can't see that lasting too long and I'm unsure what exactly I need to buy for next time

Some kanthal wire 28g ...around £5 for 10 metres i think And japanese cotton pads...in my local shop i get 10 pads for £1..i think most users on here use stealth vape for their supplies
