Caffeine

Anyone add Caffeine to their mixes?
Just wondering what I expect from this:



It's also 17mg nicotine so assume I just adjust a mix accordingly.

Any taste differences?
Any idea on strength, how much to use?

Does it tell you what the percentage of caffeine is in there? It should do. I mix my caffeine from crystals and then add it so can't make a direct comparison. What I can say though is that caffeine makes a significant contribution to throat hit. It also, in my experience, when used with good coffee flavours, enhances the nutty/roasted notes in these.

If it's 17ng / ml caffeine that would make sense - I mixed at 15% BW. Try adding some of the solution at 2% to your vapes and work up to about 5. You can go higher but it really can give a mule like throat hit.

Great, thanks for the advice. I'll look to incorporate it into a future mixing challenge.

I would try adding it to something you have already mixed - if it dries things out or flattens flavours a bit of ethyl maltol or tiny amount of vodka usually puts things right. It will of course dilute your flavour and nicotine levels, but at least you'll know the effect

Cheers. I'll give it a go, maybe on the mix I did today and see how that tastes. Least I can take out a tiny bit and give it a try.
