When I make my juice I'm looking for 50/50 PG/VG

On the calculator I get this recipe
20 ml batch

Nic 5 ml
VG/PG 11 ml
Flavour 4 ml

Now my Nic is PG based 72%

So do I use 5.5 ml of each or do I use less PG as there is PG in my Nic

What calculator are you using? It's much easier, to use a calculator that splits the PG/VG ratio up for you.

Let us know the the final nicotine strength you want, and a percentage of flavorings. As right now 5ml of nicotine for a 20ml final product is showing as 18MG strength, which I'm not sure you want?

It is 18 mg strength
20% flavour

I used the calculated from here, the bit I am struggling with ID the pg/VG ratio.
If my Nic is pg based and I use 5.5 ml of pg and the same in VG with the pg in the Nic what is my final ratio.

This calculator seems to make more sense to me giving me this recipie

5 ml Nic
8.2 ml. VG
2.8 ml. PG
4 ml Ry4

That would give you a 42/58 ratio, VG/PG.

When you did this one what did you put in the pg/VG ratio box under the Nic strength box at the top.

While I'm bending your ears with my problems lol
What is the best ratio to get a decent cloud, not expecting huge volumes just reasonable amount

That's what I used on my 1st batch and no cloud not even a wisp lol

i was going to start mixing this week but having a play with the steam engine calc trying to work out the OPs ratios has just put me off. i cant get it to show 10% vg even though i know it must be 10% vg if both the nic and flav are in a pg base
