Hello All,
I have been lurking on the recent Tin Mod threads, and have had a warm, happy glow due to the fact that there seem to be a few new members who are taking a humble tin and turning it into a vaping device. It makes me even happier that they love them! I love a tin mod, and still use the very first VV tin I ever made whenever I need to be "stealth-like"!
As you may know, I've made a few tin mods during my vaping journey (you can see them here, if you want to), and a few of them have been a little "odd" - not least of all the Monster drinks can mod - which I still use on a regular basis. I haven't made any mods for sale for quite a while, so I've got some bits and bobs lying around in the man cave, waiting in anticipation to be put in an envelope and sent to someone to do something with. Then I got to thinking...
Anyone fancy a bit of fun?
I propose that I put five basic sets of components together - consisting of a 510 connector, press to make switch, battery holder (14500 or 18650) and a spare insulation washer for the 510 connector (just in case!)* and send them to the first five people who post up and request one. In return, the recipient will make a basic 3.7V mod and post it up for all to see. BUT - here's the rules:
If you take a set and don't post the results you agree to be placed in the PoTV stocks and pelted with all manner of shite to make amends for your skulduggery...
There's no prize - just the self-satisfaction of taking part and showing off your wares (ooohhhh-errrrr!) to the whole Plant, and indeed the universe.
So over to you my fellow Apes - who's in? (State whether you want a 14500 or 18650 battery holder).
* No wire, solder, epoxy or adhesives will be supplied - just the components.
MODS: If this isn't OK, please feel free to bin it and chastise me as appropriate

- The mod MUST be made from a tin or similar thin metal item (like a drinks can etc) - the more ornate/unusual, the better;
- There must be NO PCB's or LEDs;
- All joints must be soldered and insulated;
- The 510 connector must have a + centre pin feed and a - outer earth - no earthing the tin directly;
- If the item from which the mod is made is airtight, or close to airtight - it must have a vent hole;
- NO tube or plastic battery case mods;
- Whatever you produce must be photographed and posted up with a description of how you created it and what it performs like.
