I not had Calpol for about 25 years, but when i first tasted Red Bull it reminded me of Calpol, don't know if that's still the case?

If so you'd just need to tweak that and make it really sweet.

I love drinking this stuff!..... and was thinking of the very same idea the other day.

Was trying to remember what that flavour is called in one of digbys juices that gives it the medicine note....I read it somewhere.... Anyone help?!


I remember a post saying one of the liquids reminded them of the chemists....they didnt like it...but what is this flavour?!

Have you tried Digby's Hooligan? Not quite Calpol but does taste like medicine.

Yep agree, but its not a medicine as such its germoline, antiseptic cream.

if you leave it for months it does improve :-)

Never tasted Calpol. In my day it was dispersible aspirin until you stopped being a wuss about tablets.
I do remember the vilest pink antibiotic, though. It tried to market itself as strawberry I think - but it was bad enough to hide an infection from fear of being dragged to the doc for a bottle of that.
Wouldn't want to vape that!

Strawberry Calpol is absolutely beautiful stuff. I have for some reason thought about making this juice before...

If anyone nails a recipe, please inform me.

Ewww I remember that stuff, you had to keep it i the fridge and it used to go all crusty around the top of the bottle

I don't think my Ma bothered keeping it in the fridge, otherwise my memories of having it inflicted on me wouldn't centre around the bathroom!
