Right guy's,I've been using salt nic now for last few months,at 10mg strength.now it's too strong for me in a rta,so I was advised to get a mtl tank which I've now got,2 in fact, anyway I'm using one tank with a alien 0.7ohm coil I've got the flavour and hit now thanks to you guys but after 4/5pulls I get a slight head rush or type of headache which is telling me nics too strong 10mg.thing is I've got 250ml of this juice I love mixed at 10mg.so remember when we all first started back in the day with cleromiser pen type ecigs,I forget my first type, but I vape 18mg juice and I'm sure it was a 1.8ohm coil.so would it be worth while putting a 1.8ohm coil in my mtl tank would it calm the nic strength down ??? Compared to the 0.7 alien

If a 1.8 ohm coil would cut down the nic buzz would be entirely dependent on the Wattage setting. If you used the 1.8 ohm coil on a stick type battery voltage output only mod you would have probably been vaping at 8 Watts max.

Nic salts get absorbed almost instantly so it is easy to get an unpleasant nic buzz if you chain vape or use a higher wattage.

I think you probably need to either reduce the wattage if your 0.7 ohm coil will be good at a lower setting, use a smaller higher ohm coil at a lower wattage or, as a last resort dilute your juice to lower the nic content.

22watts which is OK I can go to 18watts but need a bit more I can't get a in between

I've found the new-fangled complex MTL coils like Aliens and Staples need quite a bit of power to work properly, I use the Coilology 'MTL' staple wire and it seems to be a bit lethargic under 18W, they give great flavour at about 20 IMO, but the increased vapour production can be a double edged sword when vaping nic salts because its easy to overdo it. I find it great when I'm driving or outdoors and just want to take a few hits to get my nic fix, but easy to overdo it.

I think smaller, less complex coils may be better with 10mg salts. Something like a simple Clapton at 1 ohms+ or a simple roundwire build would be a safer option.

In fact a simple round wire build at 1 to 1.2 ohm should work well. Start at about 10 watts and gradually increase to find sweet spot.
